Rockstar Games, the developer of GTA 5 and GTA Online hack tool, had issued a response to the Heartbleed threats. On the 19th April, Cinema Blend reported that Rockstar Games discovered a number of pages in the Rockstar Games Social Club are not secured against the hackers. Rockstar Games confirmed that the security threats haven’t affect the players’ accounts in any way. Rockstar Games has asked players to change the passwords they used to login into their GTA Online accounts. Those who are using the same passwords in different website should immediately change their passwords now. There is a large number of account sign ups at the Rockstar Games Social Club following the release of GTA 5. The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the GTA 5 have already sold more than 32.5 millions copies. Over 70% of players who sign up for their accounts login at the same time every day. The Heartbleed exploit caused players to completely lose the control over their characters in GTA 5 Online. Apart from this hack, Rockstar Games is also troubled by many other kinds hacks. Rockstar Games is releasing new title updates to resolve these issues. Rockstar North planned to release the High Lift Update and heist missions this Spring. There are rumors that they are planning to launch the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the GTA 5. According to the rumor, the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the GTA 5 will be launched this summer in USA. Rockstar Games will possibly make the announcement soon at the E3 2014 event in June.
